Fulton Realty Capital advised a private client on the acquisition of a self-storage portfolio located in upstate New York. The property was sourced by Fulton’s commercial real estate team, who also secured financing and led all negotiations.
The portfolio contains two single-story storage facilities with a combined 65,000+ SF and over 500 storage units. Roughly 18% of the units are climate-controlled units.
Fulton has identified opportunities to improve performance through enhancing the already remote style of management, implementing revenue management systems and expense efficiencies, and formalized marketing programs. The site will be managed by a professional, third-party management company.
